Let me start off by saying that I hate you. With that being said, how the hell do you average 907 points? According to Extreme Overclocking stats, you're like 3 average-labeling-colors above me (which is a lot). Tell me your secrets or anybody you love, have loved, and will ever love will be killed. And have a nice day. --Anyone 19:08, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Well, I have a 1.8GHz desktop that's on almost 24/7, a 1.8GHz laptop that's on about 6 hours a day, a 2.8GHz dual core server that's on 24/7 and a 450MHz server that's on 24/7 all devoting their free cycles to folding. I guess my secret is that I have four pretty solid processors (and one junker) chugging away at the thing. Oh, and your threat of killing those that I have/do/will love is hollow since I am under a gypsy curse that prevents me from ever knowing love. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 08:44, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Images Question

How do I get an image on my article? ~Sminty 4/3/07

First, upload the image using the "Upload file" link in the toolbox. After uploading, you should be left at the image's page (something like Image:yourfilename.jpg). Now, in your article, put [[Image:yourfilename.jpg|thumb|right|some caption]] replacing "Image:yourfilename.jpg" with whatever the title of the image's page was after uploading and replacing "some caption" with the caption you want for the image. Hope that helps.
Also, you might want to read the Beginner's Guide, which contains all this information and more. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 15:26, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

How do I make it so that an abbreviation, misspelling, etc. can be redirected to the article? Sminty 22:08, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Put the following as the full content of the article
#redirect [[target]]
--Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 16:20, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

I had this idea

I'm not sure how to do this, but I wish to create a certain page WITHOUT it getting huffed within 5 seconds, the idea being kind of like Bad Jokes and Other Deleted Nonsense or True Facts and Other Deleted Prose, only having to do with the best of what Uncyclopedia has to offer. That, and a Ninjastars Proposal Page.

Dark Ermac 11:55, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

If you promise not to share it with all the idiots making crap, I'll tell you a trick that'll probably prevent your page from being insta-huffed. If you make your page and put a {{ICU|~~~~~|fix=This is a work in progress; don't huff it just yet because it'll get better}} notice at the bottom, it'll probably be left alone for about a week. This should hopefully give you enough time to make your page as you would like. With care and luck, you'll make something that the friendly staff won't nuke. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 07:30, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
Alternatively, either put a {{construction}} tag on it, or build it in your own userspace first. -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)
Well, sure; if you really want to play by the rules, but where's the fun in that. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 06:00, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Hear me out here...

As i'm sure you remember, the Pokémon page was blocked. As a fan of it, I thank you for keeping it safe. But as a fan of this site, and humor in general, I cannot favor the same thing over and over. I feel I can write a new article if given time and consideration, one that may satisfy both comedy lovers as well as people who love/hate/atleastgetakickoutofthebasicpremise of Pokémon. I've already got a few good ideas over how I want it to go. If you would consider my request, please post on my talk page.

Thank you. Conniving 03:12, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

The correct thing to do in this situation is to write up a new version under your user page (ex. User:Conniving/Pokémon) and then convince an admin that your version is better than the current one. Following this approach is the best way to go about it. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 14:55, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
And if you choose me, it will be fairly easy to convince me that it's better than the crap that's there. Hell, you could pretty much convince me that a blank page is better. Warning: Other admins might be harder to convince. 05/21 22:22
Understood. Thank you. ^_^ And i'm glad you think a blank page is better. I think the article was nice with what's there now with added things to look forward to, but i'm not going to bitch about how the vandalized (or this version) was actually better. It wasn't much better than this, if at all. But i'll get to work. I wonder, do you know anyone who can supply me with pictures? I don't have Photoshop or Flash, but i'll try and use MS Paint... Conniving 22:39, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
If it's pictures you want, this is the place for you. -- Major Sir Zombiebaron GUNWotMUotMPotMAotMEGAEDMUPotMMAFEZotMIotMVotMUGotM (shout) 22:48, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

You recently huffed my article Roll.EXE shortly after it was un-huffed by another guy, after I wrote and pointed out that the "under construction" banner was there for a reason; I'm not done with the page, and the excess of banners is just meaningless filler as a lame joke in the interim. I'll remove them if you un-huff it, since everyone seems to hate them.

--Banjo2e 17:59, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

Roll.EXE is a human ballet instructor who lives in ACDC Hamlet, Electron. She is well-known for the fact that she spends a great deal of time on the Internet with her electronic personal assistant, Mayl Sakurai. She is also a Pink Belt in Karate, and is widely considered to be a master of the Gentle Fist technique.

The templates had no influence on my decision to delete Roll.EXE. My decision was based on noting that the textual content appeared to be complete nonsense (as prohibited by HTBFANJS:Advice About Nonsense and Opposites). If, however, you can tell me where it is that you were intending to go with the text (quoted above for reference) and in what possible way it is funny, I will more than gladly restore the page. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 18:12, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

I was planning to go on to a detailed parody of her involvement in Mega Man: Battle Network, add a few quotes at the top (including one from Oscar Wilde) and finally tie in a few nonsensical notes at the end that end up canceling themselves out anyway. --Banjo2e 18:49, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
That's fine and all but not a drop of what you just said showed up anywhere in the article that I deleted. I recommend that you try drafting the article in your userspace (ex. User:Banjo2e/Roll.EXE) and then, when it is ready, you move it into the main space. This is not only a good idea but it's fairly standard practice. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 18:54, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
