Warm War
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
“The war is warm, the chicks are hot and the napalm is even hotter.”
~ Oscar Wilde on The Warm War
The warm war was much like the Cold War but somewhat warmer. In contrast the warm war is not nearly as warm as the Hot War, which was pretty warm.
A common misconception is that the Warm war was between the Hot War and the Cold War, as natural progression would suggest. This however is not the case, the Warm war predates the temperture wars by 42 years.
The cause of the war was a dispute between the Yetis of northland and hot chicks of southland. The hot chicks wanted it to get hotter, and the Yetis wanted it colder, so begain a long and temperate war.
While the main dispute was between the Yetis of northland and hot chicks of southland, there was another faction namely the People who always want a room a little bit warmer than it should be being unallied with either faction. These people, despite being riduclosly annoying, ended the war, subjecting both the Yetis of northland and hot chicks of southland to subtropical climates.
[edit] Major Conflicts
Much like the cold war, the warm war was not fought directly, but rather in Surrogate Conflicts. There is an exception to this, but no-one likes to talk about it, because it's embarrasing. Like walking in on your parents making love. Which is really gross.
The first of the Surrogate conflicts was the disastorus Dodo V Bigfeet 'police action', which ended in both sides disappearing from the face of the earth, their species wiped out. The Bigfeet had been funded by the Yeti's, who sent them large amounts of snow-which is understandably useless in a combat situation. The Hot Chick's sent the Dodo's much survalliance equipment but these only ended up catching grainy footage of the enemy. And photo's that looked they had been retouched using MS Paint
