| Sometimes the foundations are so rotten and bad that the only good and constructive action is demolishing everything and starting from scratch. In other words, rewrite this article. It's in such a bad state that you may ignore all of its current contents if you like.

YTMND is a mostly-unfunny site (there are some notable exceptions, but these are vastly outweighed by a splattering of recycled memes stolen from the graveyards of other websites) where the internet goes to die. Then, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the dead memes resurrect, reproduce, and converge in horrible orgies of combined anti-lulz forming a virtual meme-hell. Additionally, YTMND is the only current website holding a fanbase that whines incessantly about stolen content while uploading said stolen content. Its mortal enemy is ebaumsworld, which is just as much of a shithole. YTMND users are notable for reacting positively to sites depicting racism, injury, death, war, the holocaust, and other such light comedic topics, but form a full-on revolt when some poor soul dares post anything depicting harm to those of the feline variety. As such, they are mostly assumed to be furries and sick fucks, and are rightfully chastised for being the poor, acne-ridden spurts of cervical slime they truly are.

Origin of ytmnd
YTMND was created by Aztec priests sometime in the 12 century AD
Originally they were created to keep a record of the sacrifices of the time period. The phrase YTMND comes from the sound priests would make as they carved the images in rock or wood. Around the middle of the 13th century the practice mysteriously stopped.
The Renaissance Period
Early in the 15th century, Max Goldberg decided to lead an expedition in search of Aztec city of gold after he used up much of his jew gold buying grey goose... He was joined on the journey by Sycan, Dr. Leet, Captain Picard, Brian Peppers, Batman, Conan O'Brien, Link (Legend of Zelda),Owl, and Happy Cat on the Expedition. Happy Cat was however burned alive by the natives. Max never found the city of gold, however he did find the remains of ytmnd.
Early Ytmnd under Max's Control
Max founded the practice of YTMND some time in the early 18th century in London. Early on ytmnd was a dangerous practice and many practitioners were either killed by their own careless techniques or were burned at the stake often mistaken for witches.
Ytmnd today
Ytmnd today is practiced by an organized community with members of great diversity. It is made up of creative individuals using their talents to benefit mankind with insightful recordings of the period of time. There are however evil practitioners who create YTMND for their own end in an effort to throw the planet into chaos.
In order to practice YTMND, one must first commune with nature and then combine the elements together to forge a ytmnd. If this is done incorrectly, it will result in low star count. If it is however done correctly it will result in a high star count and potenially create a chain of ytmnds capable of unbelievable destructive or creative power.
Stars
Stars are a system measurement to measure the potential power levels of a ytmnd. Stars can be awarded by any practitioner of ytmnd even if he has never before successfully forged ytmnd. A 1 star ytmnd lacks any power and therefore will evaporate within a couple of hours. A 4 star ytmnd on the other hand put out enough power and energy to power a small city and possibly blow up said city. Any ytmnd to remain at 5 stars for very long risks creating a black hole therefore it is common practice of specialized practitioners known as downvoters to award the ytmnd 1 star in order to limit its destructive potential To put star in perspective, Bob Barker would be comparable to a 3.5 star ytmnd whereas Tom Cruise would be comparable to a 2.8 star ytmnd, and Bruce Lee would be comparable to a 4.5 star ytmnd.
Fads
A fad is a repeated ritual or use of common symbols by the majority of the practicing ytmnd population. A fad is said to unite the minds and hearts of all ytmnd.
Mod Favorites
Mods or gods are the beings that watch over the practice of ytmnd. They will occasionally destroy potentially dangerous or stupid ytmnds in order to preserve the integrity of the practice... On occasion however they will be so pleased by a ytmnd that they will grant it favor in their list of sacred ytmnd. It is said anyone that can figure out these cryptic messsages presented in this list may in turn become a mod or die, it is unknown if this is true however as no one who has done so has been seen again.
Featured Users
Featured users are a fraternal order of members who have obtained adequate mastery of the art of YTMND. They have obtained numerous stars. It is unknown what their goal is with such highly powerful ytmnd but some suspect they will one day overthrow the world governments.
Hall of Fame
The hall of fame was a massive building Max had constructed to hold and conceal some of the most awesome and powerful ytmnd on the planet to prevent them from ripping the very fabric of time and space apart.
PTKFGS
PTKFGS is to YTMND what Te is to Tao. It can be found in worthy ytmnd but not always. But when it is found it is always a thing of beauty.
