  1. Against, I've never much cared for this one, and I can't really be bothered to reiterate my criticisms of it. I'm sure if you cared, you'd look them up in some sort of archive. -- User:Zombiebaron/sig 17:47, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
I did an advanced search on "Carbraille2" looking in all namespaces and I couldn't find anything. User:Syndrome/sig 19:43, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
That's because we didn't archive failed VFP nominations up until very recently. So, when I say "some sort of archive", I mean "the history of the VFP page". Good luck. -- User:Zombiebaron/sig 21:56, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
  2. Against. Fails at reality (as per 15Mickey20's) comment. Any 'chop with this joke will, by design, have a blind passenger (with the possible exception of an 'advance left turn signal'), which undermines the absurdity. Blind passengers never travel with blind drivers. They go with deaf drivers. Also, there's a mute in the back seat. And they're all chimpanzees. Now that's funny. User:Modusoperandi/sig 23:53, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Worst against reason ever, since when did anyone care about reality here? --User:DJ Irreverent/sig 03:49, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
You fail to mention my mention of "absurdity" later on. Even the absurd needs a reality to wrap itself around. User:Modusoperandi/sig 04:00, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Makes perfect sense for Australian cars as the driver is on the left here and even if it were on the other side the image would still be funny, right now it just seems like a piss poor excuse to vote against. Note that Gneomi is Australian. --User:DJ Irreverent/sig 04:11, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
...and what side of the road do Aussies drive on? User:Modusoperandi/sig 04:13, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
oh dear, I suppose that does present a logical flaw in the picture... --User:DJ Irreverent/sig 04:25, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
It would "work" better with a motorcycle. User:Modusoperandi/sig 04:32, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
  3. Symbol against vote.svg Against. Hand isn't reaching the stop sign. Arm is sticking out at odd angle. The arm, which should be the focal point of the picture, simply isn't noticeable without concentrating a bit. The person is on the passenger side, which kills the joke. I'd recommend, at least, making a picture that consists of the stop sign, driver's arm, and window, and not all of that unnecessary extra space. If the joke worked in the first place. Which it doesn't, because stop signs are on the passenger side of the vehicle.  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • elk cloner) 04:30 Sep 15, 2008
  4. Symbol against vote.svg Against. this is such a good idea for a visual gag i really think it deserves some more care and atention and some source pics that are more pleasing to the eye. Just look for a picture of a car, you can put the arm in after.. and if it doesnt reach then just stretch it :P. Try making the back window very dark to draw the focus of the picture to the arm ;) Made me laugh though.--VitalOD 00:27, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
  5. Against. I don't mind the joke, though it didn't make me laugh, but a number of things in the picture irritate me. It's horribly unfocused, to the point that the subject of the picture only takes up a small portion of the upper-right corner. The arm is far too short and the hand too small to actually be able to read the sign, and if either were any larger it would end up as the horribly disproportioned arm of Mr. Fantastic, the Hulk, or both. The slight, but very bright reflection on the back window is incredibly distracting, so much so that I can't stop staring at it. The car ahead of the blind man's car appears to be driving straight toward the subject, which could be part of the "blind man" joke but, as Modus pointed out, would make the stop sign utterly useless. None of these are really the fault of the creator so much as they are fault of the the subject matter, but when they all come together the result bugs the hell out of me. 6. Irritating. Okay, it took me FOREVER to realize what the fuck was in this image. It's annoying. I dislike it. Love, 75.54.238.233
