Cardinal Sin

Cardinal Sin is the act of devouring a Cardinal of the Catholic Church without first cooking it completely.

This act was first committed by Pope Innocent III, who devoured one of his subordinates in a fit of rage. He was punished by God, and forced to spend 40 days and 40 nights in the crapper, purging himself of evil.

Remember folks, always, always cook your Cardinal before eating. If there is still pink on the inside, he isn't cooked enough.

Other famous examples of the Cardinal Sin include:

  • Infamous psychologist Hannibal Lechter consuming a cardinal he had just confessed his sins to. The cardinal was prepared medium well with a white wine. The act of eating a person with a white wine is known as a California Sin.
