For those without comedic tastes, the so-called experts at Wikipedia think they have an article about Flipper.

Flipper was a documentary television show popular among handicapped children of the mid-1960's.

Flipper told the story of a young dolphin that struggled through culinary school as a child prodigy to become both 16th president of the United States of America and Super Bowl III quarterback Joe Namath. Flipper was canceled in 1992 after the show's producer realized Namath had run out of true stories to tell, and had been just "making shit up" since 1978. A DVD box set was released in 2003. Nobody bought it, and Namath committed suicide in a Dairy Queen in front of 12,000 people. Namath was killed. At this moment Flipper's residenced in No Orleans.
