For the religious among us who choose to believe lies, the self-proclaimed experts at Wikipedia have an article about Hertz.

The hertz is a form of currency used by the Internet, and the official currency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The hertz is the building block of all society, although no one knows but the machines. A toaster is worth 15 hertz, while a computer costs approximately 1500 hertz. (Not entirely coincidentally, one of the world's first computers consisted of any array of 100 toasters connected together.)

The hertz is also a common unit of pain. It is relatively very small; one needs 1e24 hertz before one has a yotahertz.
