## The word

The word itself is a german word, that, unlike lots of german words, was directly translated to English. It achieved this by the "Queens Order of Scientific Excellence", which is an hono(u)r given only once every ten years. This meant the the Oxford Dictionary had to adept the word in it's original form, from the original language that it produced.

The run-up to the word has a lot to do with the theory itself, this is to be explained below.

## The theory

The theory has everything to do with the concept of chance. This is a concept that, until 1944, was completely incomprehensible, until Fredrich Herzell Scheifizer, a mathematics student who had fled Nazi Germany in 1941, came up with a theory that could explain everything: the Lot-theory (or the full name for it: Das Lote Anschreifunks Verband).

### The man

Now, to put this into context, there're some facts about Herzell one needs to know: Herzell was bron in 1899 in Arschenkunnt, near Munich. On an early age, he showed great talent for mathematics. Mainly his ability to put everything into easy understandable context was astonishing. For instance, here's his take on the meson Lagrangian:

With this theory, he completely accurately predicted the downfall of men when they get older, earning him a full scolarship to the pretigious Munich Universizeit.

## The Lot theory

The Lot theory was thought of in 1941, and it can be seen as the predecessor of the Lot element. The theory itself was thought of when Herzell was making progress in the field of chance science. The theory was his ending project of his second year as a mathematics student, which, to a lot of scientists, is ultimate proof that Herzell was a enfant encroyable.

The Lot theory was inspired by the gambling fenomenon: as Herzell once went gambling, he once discovered that, if you pick a random number that is not known to you, it will always appear as you want it to. He compared this to a lot in a lottery: as long as you never knew the number that the lot contained, you would always win.

## The Lot Element

However, Herzell could not finish the theory, as he had to flee the Nazi ruled Germany after the Munich Universizeit had had a series of thourough searches for Jews. The Razzias that had haunted the building for several years, had reached critical mass: there were daily searches and German soldiers felt like they had total control over the university. After the total perimeter of the university had been sealed, it had almost become a totalitarian ruled proporty.

As the control increased, so did the interest by the fascist leaders. In fact, Hitler himself had autorized the building to be used as a research lab to prove that the Jews had low evolutional standards.

Herzell had fled this mess by tricking one of the guards. He then got help by the German Resistance and was transported to American, where he would start a new life.

### America and the Manhattan-project

Initially, Herzell was sent to work with fellow German scientists to create the nuclear bomb. In fact, the highly explosive fuse to trigger Little Man was designed by Herzell himself.

### Completing the Lot-theory

But he felt that his goal in life was to complete the Lot theory. In April 1944, he had completed the theory and, for anecdotal reference, he wanted to use the theory on the most difficult math problem of them all: the Sexual Transparant Selfreflection Theory. This is a theory that, if solved correctly, would explain one of the strings of DNA that controls sexual urges.

This is the official reading that Herzell had calculated after more than 5 months of lonely nights and days. The number itself had solved one of the greatest mysteries of all time: a lot is the number of times same sex porn of the opposite sex is preferred by men over women. With that he had proved that without a doubt lesbian porn would become a lot more popular than homo-men porn would ever become. Now, today, that is kindergarten math, but this was discovered in a time when porn did not even exist.

In 1946, Herzell was rewarded for this amazing feat: he was given the "Nobel Hot Sexy Mama"-award, for porn-related field research. Ironically, this would also be the area to which he would lose his life.

## Untimely death

In 1950, when he was working on the field of quamtum-mechanics, he accedentally created a black hole that spewed out stuff from the future.
