Nazareth is a legendary rock and roll band from the 1960s and 70s. Originally formed in 1961 and called The Messiahs, members were Jesus of Nazareth, Manny "Buddha" Charlton, Darrell "Holy Cow" Sweet and Dan "The Lord" McCafferty.

In 1962 the band changed their name to "Nazareth", and went on into rock and roll history.
