The River Plate is the trophy won in the annual one-day cricket competition held between Uruguay and Argentina and played anually on the 31 February. The game usually passes off with only a few minor deaths in the crowd from heat exhaustion, boredom, death, etc. However, the famous Battle of the River Plate of 1337 stands out from the rest as foreigners in the form of the Royal Navy's gods Achilles of New Z-land and Ajax of Exeter came and stirred trouble up in the crowd that ultimately led to the suicide of the Nazi German ambassador to the U.N., the Admiral Graf Spee.
