“There's nothing quite like a string quartet… four men who know exactly what to do with their hands to make me happy!”

~ Oscar Wilde on String Quartets

The string quartet orginated during the early 1600's at the insistance of Oscar Wilde.

The quartet is made of four people- a good violinist, a bad violinist, an ex-violinist, and someone who hates violinists. They meet on a regular basis to fight over music and play guessing games as to what the composer actually wanted. Rehearsals usually end in a blood bath over who gets to tell the violist that they suck!
