The IBM System/360 was a so-called supercomputer that could record farting noises on blank tapes. The processing power of the microprocessor included with the machine the size of a planet is the equivalent of a modern wristwatch. The machine was expected to be a huge hit in the 1280s, but people were turned off by its huge size : One System/360 was the size of a football field without the external power supply. The external power supply was the size of a small house.
Due to its low success IBM has recently struck a deal with Microsoft who are selling surplus System/360's under the name XBOX 360.
