Talk:Where's Waldo?

So I think this has been pretty well recieved for a first article. Many thanks to Nintendorulez for calling the concept 'brilliant' and also making it 'longer and harder'. Most editors seem to be understanding that more random links is good, and broken links are bad. Keep adding links and shuffling Waldo around every so often. Great Briton 19:52, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

Oooh, good idea with shuffling the Waldo now and then. I wonder if it's possible to use choose tags to automatically shuffle where Waldo is, and the order of all the links... If we can just find a way to ensure there's one and exactly one Waldo, I daresay that would be a breakthrough in dynamic wikiML use... --Nintendorulez | talk 23:41, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
I might try something like that... it'll just be a hell of a long edit page... HOMESTAR ME!!! TURTLE ME!!! t o m p k i n s  blah. ﺞوﻦ וףה ՃՄ ண்ஸ ފއހ วอฏม +տ trade websites 23:44, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Hmmm... but how could you guarentee Wald would even be in there? HOMESTAR ME!!! TURTLE ME!!! t o m p k i n s  blah. ﺞوﻦ וףה ՃՄ ண்ஸ ފއހ วอฏม +տ trade websites 23:45, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Eh... Wiki/HTML =/= magic --Boy Toy bitch at me 02:47, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Perhaps we could just make several link jumbles, and choose one of them. It'd be the same every time except for where Waldo is. The only concern, of course, is editors adding to only one rather than all of them, but we could easily fix that, and also create more instances with Waldo down at the bottom as the list of links grows.
Like this:
<option weight=50>Link Waldo Link Link Link</option>
<option weight=50>Link Link Waldo Link Link</option>
<option weight=50>Link Link Link Waldo Link</option>
<option weight=1>Link Link Link Link Link</option>
We don't need the last option if anyone considers it too evil. I'm just throwing ideas out since the original one would be almost impossible to do. --Nintendorulez | talk 19:18, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

Easily Found[edit]

Might want to add an anti-discoloration feature to the real waldo seems people who have already visited Waldo can find him easily by faded blueish-violetish text...

Yeah, that's what I did. I wonder if it's possible, though? Blah Blah Blah 03:31, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Anyone mind if I do a rewrite? I've got an alternate title, if you're predisposed to keeping this page as is.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 03:01, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Against. Sorry. If I can give ye a solution, I'd suggest Where's Waldo? (agent) --Boy Toy bitch at me 15:58, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
This is why I ask before I overwrite a page people want...I've don't a few rewrites before and this is the first time anyone has even replied.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 20:09, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

I found Waldo..........[edit]

.............So I edited it to get Waldo out. You will now find Shit in it's place.

If I did something wrong, let me know. Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Icons-flag-us.pngMchammer.gif

I removed the red links and moved Waldo to a different spot on this page. --[citations needed] 10:27, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Um....there's no waldo, is there.... I hate you guys. P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon Baloon.gif(Tick Tock) (Contribs) 03:05, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

I know an easy way to find Waldo![edit]

Just go to "Edit Page," and scroll down until you see the link with 'font color=#002bb8">Waldo' in it. Memorize some of the links around it, and spot them on the real page! I feel so smart now. It's the simple things in life. --YeOldeLuke 07:22, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

WHAT?! I don't see anything about the "Where's Waldo?" Prank Screamer in here! --Just!n 04:04, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

HOORAY! --User:Magic man/sig 20:49, May 28, 2011 (UTC)

You are evil[edit]

Okay, it'd be a pointless waste of time if there wasn't a Waldo link on the page at all, but to hide it in a goatse link with <font size=0>? --BLU Scoutgineer 19:08, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
