The Black Parade is My Chemical Romance's cover of Pink Floyd's The Wall. The recording of The Black Parade was largely the suggestion of Roger Waters.

The story of The Black Parade follows Black, a worn out rockstar who has mono. Due to his sickness, Black retreats from the world and builds a metaphorical fence around himself. He then goes to hell and plays hopscotch with Stalin. Stalin easily defeats Black three out of five times. In a fit of rage, Black leaves Stalin behind with his Famous Last Words - "You're not very nice, mister!". Black then returns to his fence, which is soon torn down by Judge Gerard Gay.

My Chemical Romance is currently planning on releasing a movie entitled My Chemical Romance The Black Parade. The movie will reportedly be a retelling of the story of The Black Parade featuring music from the album but almost no dialogue.
