About your Pee Review for Messianic Judaism

Actually, I'm one of them. We just like to poke fun at ourselves sometimes. Of course, this is my first Uncyclopedia article, so if you feel it can be improved, edit away. Baruch (HASHEM). בס״ד Zorkfan 21:32, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

I like the pictures very much. I would vote them in VFP. The on with jesus wearing tfilin would probably voted down by the photoshop freaks, but the one with the symbols could work (If you made the picture yourself of course).---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 14:28, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

I made the Orthodox Rabbi Jesus picture just using paint and modifying an existing picture (yes, I suck). The second picture, with the crossection of the Menorah and the dag of Yeshua, really is the recognized Messianic Seal. Like I said, you can't make this up! The first instance of the Messianic Seal actually goes all the way back to the first century, engraved on a piece of pottery by a member of an early Nazarene synagogue, a Beit Knesset under Pharasaic authority. Here was the dynasty of the Paqids of Nazarene Judaism, starting with Yaaqov ("James the Just") the brother of Yeshua of Nazareth, and continuing in successive generations by descendants of Yaaqov, brother of Yeshua, guaranteeing direct lineage back to David, which Yeshua of course has as the Messiah:

1. 30 – ca. 62 C.E. (according to Josephus, see History Museum, Sukah 6) — Paqid Ya·aqov "ha-Tzadiq" Ben-David — brother of Ribi Yehoshua Ben-David — the Mashiakh

2. ca. 63 – ca. 107 C.E. — Paqid Shimon "ha-Tzadiq" Ben-Kheleph (Hellenized to "Clopas"), murdered by Trajan for being a royal descendent of Dâwid (Hegesippus according to Eusebius EH III.xii.19-20, 32; xxxii.1-6)

3. ca. 107 – ca. 110 C.E. — Paqid Tzidqiyah "ha-Tzadiq" (the first)

4. ca. 110 – ca. 113 C.E. — Paqid Zekharyah "ha-Tzadiq"

5. ca. 113 – ca. 115 C.E. — Paqid Toviyah "ha-Tzadiq"

6. ca. 115 – ca. 117 C.E. — Paqid Binyamin "ha-Tzadiq"

7. ca. 117 – ca. 119 C.E. — Paqid Yokhanan "ha-Tzadiq"

8. ca. 119 – ca. 121 C.E. — Paqid Matityahu "ha-Tzadiq"

9. ca. 121 – ca. 123 C.E. — Paqid Peresh "ha-Tzadiq" (Hellenized by Eusebius to 'Philip')

10. ca. 123 – ca. 125 C.E. — Paqid Sena·ah "ha-Tzadiq" (Hellenized by Eusebius to 'Seneca')

11. ca. 125 – ca. 127 C.E. — Paqid Tzidqiyah "ha-Tzadiq" (the second)

12. ca. 127 – ca. 129 C.E. — Paqid Leivi "ha-Tzadiq"

13. ca. 129 – ca. 131 C.E. — Paqid Ephrayim "ha-Tzadiq"

14. ca. 131 – ca. 133 C.E. — Paqid Yoseiph "ha-Tzadiq"

15. ca. 133 –135 C.E. — Paqid Yehudah "ha-Tzadiq," who was ousted and exiled from Yerushalayim by the gentile Hellenist Romans in 135 C.E., being usurped by Markos, the first gentile "bishop," who is the only documented (non-fabricated retroactively) origin of the tradition of "popes" who arrogate rightful authority. Legitimate authority remains unchanged — in the Eyes of the Elohim of Israel — with the Netzarim Paqid, restored in the generation of the reemergence of the State of Israel; like Israel itself, after a long hiatus concluding the Age of the Expulsion from Israel (the 'Dark-Age of the Gentiles').

During the Bar Kokhba revolt, the Nazarenes agreed to join Kokhba in arms but could not agree with Rabbi Akiba's proclomation that Kokhba was the Mashiach, a claim that had no prophetic nor Scriptual basis, nor Davidic descent. They were exiled for that decision, even though the Parushim obviously agreed in one one voice a little later on that Shimeon Bar Kokhba was not Messiah.
The Netzarim were later wiped out completely by the pagan Roman emporer Constantine.
Messianic Judaism is, as far as I can tell, something of a modern-day resurrection of the Nazarene Jewish sect. Finally, note that Netzarim (the Hebrew term for a Nazarene, spelled נצרים) and Nazarites, takers of the vow, consecrated ones (Nezarim, spelled נזירים) are unrelated; the two words just sound alike. So I guess you didn't expect any sort of serious history lesson on Uncyclopedia, but there it is, one right in your talk page! If you want more information on early Messianic Judaism, see the following article:

Dude, I'm not interested in messianic judaism. Please, refrain from doing missionery work on my talk page.---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 17:14, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Oh, no missionary work at all (unless that can be defined as any verbal profession of religious belief whatsoever). Just sharing some of my beliefs and a shred of authentic history with someone whom I had no idea would react negatively or positively. It must be realized the world over that the historical Ribi Yeshua, of the house of Hillel, is indeed the Suffering Messiah (not the Conquering one resembling David) portrayed in sacred Jewish writ, while the invented anti-Torah "Jesus Christ" propogated by Christianity doesn't even begin to qualify. And...well actually that's about all I have to say, seeing as you are easily offended. Since you're from Uruguay I assume you're Sephardi? Zorkfan 00:57, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm not interested in sharing your beliefs. I'm not interested in disscusing what "must be realized", nor the different protraits of jesus, nor any other remotely serious issue involving religion (and least of all messianic judaism). Specially not in my HUMOR WIKI SITE TALK PAGE. Yes, I'm easily offended, so please stay away.---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 17:44, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Sexual Predator

Thanks for fixing the Predator quote.... :) -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)

My pleasure. I'm not totally sure I got right thought. Does she take men as trophies, or does she make trophies literally made of men? I'm not sure the ambiguety can be kept in the translation, it's closer to the first aception now. Also "cazador" menas hunter not demon. The word for demon is "demonio". It probably doesn't make any difference, I guess it's enoguh for it to sound spanish. Anyway, there you are.---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 14:18, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Funny you should mention the "Hunter" thing, as I recall that the original name suggested for the film was just that, before they settled on Predator. Another useless fact brought to you at no added cost! :) -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)
Looks like the full quote from the film is as follows "When I was little, we found a man. He looked like - like, butchered. The old woman in the village crossed themselves... and whispered crazy things, strange things. "El Diablo cazador de hombres." Only in the hottest years this happens. And this year, it grows hot. We begin finding our men. We found them sometimes without their skins... and sometimes much, much worse. "El cazador trofeo de los hombres" means the demon who makes trophies of men." -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)

I can talk hours about Brazilian history and culture if you want to. I am extremely anti-nationalist, but I have my reasons and they are very good reasons. As an Uruguaian, maybe you can have some interest. And telling me to read HTBFNJS... Man, for someone with 3 featured articles that's quite an insult. -- herr doktor needsAcharge Rocket.gif [scream!] 17:22, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Three featured articles? Wow. My congratulations and my apologies. Well, I said so about a part you didn't write yourself so please, don't take it personal. I do admire Brazilian nationalism (in cultural terms, not politics) as opposed to some uruguayan tendecies to surrender its own identity in the face of globalization. I may have other reasons to have taken the article in a bad way, but I won't bore you detailing them. I do have a problem meassuring my words sometimes, so again, my apologies.
Anyway, about your answer at Pee Review. True or false, that's only an accesory question. What matters: Is it witty? If I miss some of the wit becouse I don't know your intellectual panorama, then you can disregard half of my comments. As I said, expecting some knowldege from the reader is a good thing, and if I don't get it, well, fuck me, don't make it any simpler to reach the lowest common denominator of all foreigners. About the war with paraguay, well, I see you agree with me that there was more stupidity on it than what the article collects.---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 17:40, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Actually, the War on Paraguay part was a pun on a ridiculous war, including changing its name so it resembles the "War on Terror" or "War on Iraq". Somewhat like The Marx Brothers' war in Duck Soup. About the article as a whole, I think there's a trick, modesty appart, a witty one: it looks like a lowbrow rant on Brazilian stereotypes if you know nothing about the country. But if you know Brazil, it's a bitterly ironic manifesto on it's inner idiocies, and full of truth. Brazilians like to consider themselves victims - maybe due to excessive left-wing anti-american propaganda at schools and universities. Politicaly correct theories catch on very easy here. So the intention is being a satirical article on real Brazil - filled with facts that you can confirm reading serious articles about the country - and at the same time being a punch at the face of Brazilian jingoists. -- herr doktor needsAcharge Rocket.gif [scream!] 17:46, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Again, all wars are stupid, that pun would any other stupid war, I still think you can make something better from it, include something about the abuse of slaves, the way brasil served British interests against regional ones (if that isn't too lefty for you), or whatever. And about the rest, it seems I didn't get it.---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 18:02, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Not so related note: about slaves black slaves in uruguay, after talking about europeans and indians I wrote: "Se cree que también había negros, aunque no se los incluye en el esquema ya que, si bien se les concedió la libertad de morirse por la patria durante la Guerra Grande, su entrada a la historia les siguió vedada hasta el siglo XX, cuando se oficializó el carnaval y se profesionalizó el fútbol."---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 18:02, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Second unrelated note: Wow, Now I see I've nommed one of your featured articles myself, what cheesy memory I have.---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 18:10, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
I am no pacifist, but I think the Triple Aliance War was particularly pointless - modern Brazilian historicists tend to almost disconsider England influence on that war. Solano Lopez who was actually interested in getting parts of Brazilian and Argentinian territory - so, in the article, it's he who starts the war. In other hand, I think the history part of the article is already too much long and I don't want to expand such a topic of secondary interest. Maybe we could have an article just about this war. About Argentinian and Uruguaian blacks being extinct at the war... Whoa! That's a hot topic. Maybe another reason to write an article about it.
Secondly, I have to say we really have ideological differences. I am a libertarian - or, as some prefer, a "conservative on drugs". So I really despise third-worldist-politically-correct-self-esteem-boosting-victimist theories - and those theories are quite strong both as here as in Uruguay and the rest of Latin America. Considering someone an innocent victim, as Europeans tend to do regarding Latin America, is destroying their human dignity. Only children or mental patients are truly innocent. Adult people have freewill and by so are responsible for their acts. -- herr doktor needsAcharge Rocket.gif [scream!] 18:16, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Do you want to get seriously pissed? Read Eduardo Galeano's "Las Venas abiertas de America Latina", if you haven't alredy. Not only it's about how europe fucked Latinamerica, but also about half of it is about Brazil! I do believe Europe, (and the u.s later) fucked with us. But we did served our gentle and lubricated butts to them, so I agree we do have our fair share of guilt.---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 18:33, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Hehehe... as everybody born in this place, I was once a leftist. I have a recomendation to you as well: "Guide to the Perfect Latin American Idiot". For Chrissake, I'm not calling you idiot. But I think that this victimism just produces even more misery - see Bolivia, now complaining about "Brazilian Imperialism". Anyway, if you say you like Hugo Chaves, I will start calling you "kid", as I do with n00bies, hehehe. -- herr doktor needsAcharge Rocket.gif [scream!] 18:43, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Nope, I'm not specially fond of dictators. Left or right, same shit when any of them get to that level. And even if I did like him, he's dating someone else alredy.---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 07:40, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Your VFD vote...

Could you please read the Uncyclopedia:Bureaucrats page again? It's been rewritten. Perhaps I can persuade you to change your vote? :) Conniving 16:00, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

VFH removal

While I appreciate your vigilance on the VFH circuit, I feel it my duty to inform you that UnNews:Europe to play "The Final Countdown" indefinitely is still eligible for feature. We use the health system, which is broken down in the column on the far right, removing articles based on low health. And we only do that when the nom number is over 9000 20. Thanks for caring! It had a health rate of 31%, lowest health of all candidates, it was going down anyway... do we really have to leave it till the next 3 nominations arrive?---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 14:10, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, it's just policy. It's bureaucratic, sure, but unless it falls into the negatives, I think it's alright to let it stay a few more days. Should it stagnate anymore, I'll re-remove it. And don't let this discourage you from removing things in the future, help is always appreciated.-Sir Ljlego, GUN VFH FIYC WotM SG WHotM PWotM AotM EGAEDM ANotM + (Talk) 14:22, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Excellent voting

Thank you!
For voting for Books never written!
Cainad thinks you deserve no less than a beige, green-bordered thank-you note for your support.
So that is what you get.

Seriously though, thanks. Leaving the article un-featured as a gimmick seemed... silly.
